HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?

If you are in the U.S all items are shipped via priority mail with delivery confirmation so its usually 2-4 days from shipment and if you are outside the U.S by airmail which can be very quick but depends on customs in your country. The countries that seem to be the best are the UNITED KINGDOM, AUSTRALIA, GERMANY, SWITZERLAND, THE NETHERLANDS. The countries that sometimes seem to take longer are CANADA (MANITOBA) and ITALY.

CAN I GET MY GEAR CUSTOMIZED?

Aside from having nostril holes cut into the hoods at no charge I do not do customizations. My seamstress will allow me to have the gear made in other colors but she charges me 100.00 per item - which would be in addition to the cost of the item. So I can get you custom color if you like but it's expensive. The way I keep the costs down is by having the gear made in bulk which is why a custom color receives a surcharge.

DOES IT NEED POLISH OR POWDER?

No! Unlike latex, polish or powder is never needed.

WHATS THE MATERIAL LIKE ON THE INSIDE?

All the materials have a super sexy feeling black spandex inside which feels incredible on your skin, this also makes powder unnecessary as your body will pour into the gear with no sticking or hair pulling!

IS IT HOT?

For all the leather look products the answer is No! The fabric once worn a couple times gets microscopic holes in it and because very breathable and very comfortable. The latex look and compression materials do not breath due to the heavier coatings on them but still do not feel as hot as latex per say.

HOW DO I CARE FOR IT?

Hand wash in the sink with warm water and that's it! The material can be folded and stored in a drawer if you like.

WHAT ABOUT LUBRICANTS?

As lubricants these days seem to number in the hundreds and vary so dramatically I honestly cant be sure how they will react with the suit. I have never heard any complaints but I would just use the common logic that stay away from oil-based lubes for sure as they dont get along well with most other products. The silicone lubes I have no idea how they will react, if you have experience let me know!

HOW DOES THE MATERIAL WEAR?

SLICK IT UP products are all made of premium highest grade spandex, they are NOT thin or cheap or even see through like most spandex or garments you might find elsewhere. I have sourced hundreds of variations of spandex from all over the world and have picked the BEST available. Even the thread is use is the highest grade and a unique super strong yet slightly stretchy thread. Each finish I offer wears differently. The compression hood material is the heaviest and least stretchy but seams to be the most industrial and most resistant to wear, the latex look material is also very resilient. The leather look material is shinier at first because it has never been stretched or worn but once it has been worn a couple times it "breaks-in" and get a more leather like "eggshell" finish that is somewhere between latex look and compression hood material finish. The mercury finish is the same material as the leather look but it is the most delicate of them all as it is a mercury finish screened on to a black spandex so I recommend being more cautious with this material but it will not flake or crack but does wear over time like anything else which can expose the black lycra underneath. Most people do not mind if or when this happens. The leather look wear the same way but is not as visible as it is black finish screened on black spandex.

WHICH IS THE MOST COMFORTABLE?

This depends on taste, but what I can say is the leather look is the most stretchy and most comfortable in my opinion but the latex look offers that tight and shiny feeling that may not be as easy to wear but its not always about being comfy, sometimes it more about feeling sexy, slick and completely objectified!

DOES SLICK IT UP HAVE A RETAIL STORE?

No.

WHERE IS IT MADE?

I design each item personally and have it manufactured in New York City where I live. The company also manufactures luxury items for other high end NYC designers such as Donna Karan, Betsey Johnson, and Imitation of Christ oddly enough.

CAN YOU SEE THROUGH THE BLACKOUT HOOD?

If you stare directly into a light you can make out brightness but nothing else, if someone were to put their hand in front of you, you could see that the light was covered but not make out fingers or anything else.

 

CAN I CUT THE MATERIAL OR DOES IT FRAY?

You can cut the material as it does not fray, if you wanted nipple holes in the suit or nostrils in the hood.

CAN I HAVE NOSTRIL HOLES CUT INTO THE HOODS?

Yes, just tell me in the "notes" section of the order form. There is no charge.
